Salem had a population of over 150,000 in 2010 and as the state’s third largest city in the state after Portland and Eugene, and it continues to grow year over year.

Salem is also the home to Willamette University, Corban University, and Chemeketa Community College. The State of Oregon continues to be the largest employer in the city, followed by Salem Health.
