The facility won the Portland General Electric’s Outstanding Leadership in Clean Wind Contribution award, and the center focuses on water conservation and clean energy. Additionally, the organization partners with local farmers markets to stock the hospital cafeteria. The patients and staff enjoy healthy, organic meals and the planet benefits from fewer carbon emissions used during food transport.
