Phillip George Schmid III, M.D.

Dr. Schmid received his bachelor of arts in chemistry, cum laude, from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. He then attended the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine, in Iowa City, where he received his doctor of medicine. Dr. Schmid completed his internship and residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, before heading to Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukie, for a fellowship in neuroanesthesia.

Dr. Schmid also served in the United States Army Reserve as a General Medical Officer and Anesthesiologist. His non-clinical practice included Director, Board of Directors, for Anesthesiologists Associated, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon. Dr. Schmid was a full partner at McFarland Clinic, P.C. (Anesthesiology/Interventional Pain) in Ames, Iowa, and Boise Anesthesia, P.A. in Boise, Idaho. As well as, an Assistant Professor and Director of Scheduling for the Department of Anesthesiology at Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Schmid served as President of the Idaho Society of Anesthesiologists, and Director for the American Society of Anesthesiologists Board of Directors.
